Innovative Farmers of Ohio

The Innovative Farmers of Ohio ("IFO") is a farmer led, non-profit organization serving Ohio farmers.

Our leadership and board of directors are active Ohio farmers and we offer services and programs that help producers become more sustainable economically, socially, and environmentally.

Our mission drives our service offerings and guides us in partnering with other organizations dedicated to improving farming and rural life.

Our membership ranges from small-acreage intensive organic growers to large grain and livestock operations with more than a thousand acres and hundreds of head of livestock.

All IFO members are bound by a common commitment to make Ohio farming a profession that is rewarding, profitable, and supportive of the land around us.

We believe there is truth to the old adage that we can "do well by doing good".

IFO services are focused on the needs of Ohio farmers who are seeking new markets, new production techniques, and assistance in beginning new farm ventures.

IFO also dedicates time and energy to new farmers as well as non-traditional farmers such as women and minorities.

Working closely with partners in the agricultural industry, we seek to advance farming through a combination of innovative thinking and a careful understanding of the past.

With more than 75,000 farms in Ohio, the opportunities and work stretch before us.
